Chopper guy stuff

Having 2 old Harleys broke down on the side of the road. My Ironhead was a small chunk of o-ring from the new kit I installed in the carb and Matt's Shovel was some wiring to the coil that was rubbing against the cylinder fins. Long story short we fixed it all and rode both bikes home. What only should have taken 15min took 3hrs.

I built these Almost Rabbits handlebars because I needed a bar that came back toward me! But,.. like a young teenage girl I wasn't sure if I was ready to "Go All The Way".

I also made up this handy little pushrod holder tool incase I need to adjust my valves on the side of the road.

I can't wait! I'm ready to squeel with excitment!

In the beginning...

These were the very first handle bars I ever built. As you can see they were the jump off to my Clown Car Bars.

They are thinwall stainless I stole from a friend. I'm pretty sure they were some cafeteria table legs or something at one time.
I didn't have a tig welder or a bender. So I cut them up, mig welded them with steel wire and bent them by heating the tube with a torch. Hense the crinkly tubing. I ran thes suckers for a long time and they never cracked. The welds would start to rust but that was it.

Crazy to see how far things have come. I thought about throwing them in the scrap bin a bunch of times but just couldn't get myself to do it.

900 sporty mock up

Just stuffed the motor into this frame and have been throwing parts on it to see what will work and look the best with what I have in the short amount of time I have before Slab. I'm not a fan of this frame but its new and the only one I have outside of the stocker. I have to keep myself from wanting to fab all this cool stuff because I just don't have the time between now and then. We'll see how it goes from here.

I have a new biltwell seat on its way. I just can't deal with te fat chic solo that came with it.
